It is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, as well as Saturday and Sunday brunch.
Me and my wife breakfast here and it was amazing! Love the decor and the wait staff is amazing especially our waitress I had the steak and eggs and she had bacon and eggs and it was delicious all around and to think we were just walking around and found this place, if we ever come back to NY definitely coming back here!Julio B.1/12/2019
This is the greatest service I've probably ever experienced. Me and my comedy group, SlapNuts Comedy, were pregaming before our show and the bartenders couldn't be more friendly. We then organized for a space on the second floor after our show because we expected a bunch of friends and audience to join us. Approximately 40 people or so we told them. They made sure to have 2 bartenders on hand, to direct our guests upstairs, they even kept the kitchen open an extra hour. I was floored by how kind and hospitable everyone is at Mustang Harry's. Niall, if you read this, you and your crew are all gems. I can't wait to come back because their disco fries are something I am not ashamed to eat by myself as a meal. My husband always tries a bar's fried chicken sandwich and theirs had him finish his plate clean!Julie T.6/22/2018
This place is amazing inside! One of the best restaurant atmospheres I've experienced. The ceilings are incredibly high and the decor is awesome. Great bar. The fries with short rib gravy were delicious - so rich and flavorful. Our drinks were great as well. I ordered the fish tacos which I would order again. With all the places to choose from in the city, I would still come back here again!Kristen Q.5/06/2018
It's always a gamble when you pick a place near Penn/MSG before an event. Will it be packed wall to wall? Will the happy hour drinks be watered down? Will the food be terrible? Well let me tell you - Mustang Harry's has none of those issues and I'm so glad I ended up here last week. Someone had recently told me that they renovated the place so before going to a concert at MSG last week, my husband and I decided to check it out. We had been here before but it was nothing special that really stuck out. I made a reservation online the night before and got the time I wanted with ease. We were seated right away to a nice table in the back. I asked the waiter if the happy hour was only available at the bar and he said yes. No biggie, I kind of expected it. I ordered a Cosmo and my husband ordered a beer. When he came back he told me that he gave me the special HH price for my drinks. A man who knows the way to my heart! For dinner we started with the pretzel and beer cheese which was so delicious and tasty. I had the Harry's Burger and upgraded my fries to truffle fries. The burger was RIDICULOUS! Blue cheese, caramelized onion, crispy onions, Mustang sauce, bacon. Basically everything you could imagine. It was so tasty, cooked perfectly and even with all those toppings it wasn't too much. I didn't love the truffle fries. They were thick potato wedges rather than fries and were slightly dry. My husband has the steak frites and said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. His French fries were so good!! Very thin, very crispy and very salty-the way fries should be! I love this bar and it's now my designated spot before events at MSG or if I happen to be in the area!Laura J.3/25/2018
My friends and I needed to eat a late dinner near our hotel after cheering at Madison Square Garden and saw the fun vibe this place was giving off from the street, so we decided to stop in. What a great decision! The atmosphere is a great place to get together with friends in an upscale pub/bar experience. The elevated traditional fare was a testimony to this as well. I had the salt brick chicken, which was the perfect level of tenderness on the inside and crunchy on the outside you want in a dish. The pan gravy and brussels were savory and wholesome, too! The staff was also very friendly. So glad we ended up here.Mackenzie P.11/17/2017
Mustang Harry's : 5 stars : when exploring restaurants in midtown or near MSG, I immediately assume it will be overpriced and mediocre. Mustang Harry's proves otherwise. I am a pescatarian and my options were limited, so I landed on the fish tacos. These were hands down the best fish tacos I've ever had. Most sports bars are limited in fish/veggie options and usually offer this on the menu so I've had my fair share and, wow. The people I went with all ate a red meat dish and had only good things to say. So, though the prices are high (or in line for the area), it is well worth it for the fresh ingredients.Efraim S.2/12/2019
We stopped in here before the Eric Clapton concert. It was pretty busy and the manager was clearly working his tail off. I asked him about gluten free options and he said "we have salads." That was good enough for me, I'm grateful when a restaurant accommodates me in any way. We were seated, the place was packed. They were playing Clapton! I was seriously hangry and I didn't have high hopes....and then......Enter Freddy, our waiter. I told Freddy I was gluten free. He said, "OK, no problem, what do you want to have?" I ended up ordering a lamb lollipop appetizer and salmon with green pea risotto and mushrooms. He (not GF) got the shepherd's pie. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Freddy was obviously swamped with tables yet he managed to be super attentive, our food came out quickly and was nice and hot and every need was met.A word on the manager...I bumped into him on the way to the ladies room. As busy as he was, he apologized so cheerfully that he made me smile. This kind of attitude clearly comes from the top. Every staff member I met here was working like a dog yet managed to be polite and cheerful. This will be my new pre concert dinner go to.K R.10/09/2018
