for more than two decades
Located just steps from NYC’s Madison Square Garden, Midtown Manhattan’s legendary Mustang Harry’s has endured as NYC’s go-to Irish sports bar and gastropub for more than two decades, serving an elevated menu of American classics, handcrafted cocktails, craft beers, and 150+ whiskeys and fine spirits from around the globe.
This lively two-floor mainstay captained by brothers Ian and Niall Conroy of County Tipperary, Ireland boasts a sweeping 99-foot main floor bar—the longest of any sports bar in NYC—in a charming post-industrial setting decked with tufted leather banquets, dozens of HDTVs, and premium surround sound for the ultimate sports-viewing experience.
A popular spot for locals, concert goers, and sports fans, alike, Mustang Harry’s is located at 352 7th Avenue between 29th St. and 30th St. in close proximity to Penn Station and local attractions such as the Empire State Building and Herald Square. It is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, as well as Saturday and Sunday brunch.
This is a great restaurant within a 5 minute walk of MSG. We went prior to a show at the garden. There was no wait. Very nice atmosphere. First floor is tables and a large bar. Upstairs has more tables. I had the sloppy brisket. It was a good portion and tasted great. Nice beer selection. Great option if you're destination is the garden.Warren H.11/11/2017
First time to NYC, and was very confused as to where to eat. I did not want any Chain food restaurant so we decided to stop in. This being our first night we decided to eat and have drinks. Came back for desert on our last night. Husband had a burger with sweet potato fries, I had a Cobb Salad. Had Nachos as a appetizer. For dessert I had the Cheese cake. I would suggest this to anybody who comes to town. Cool vibe, good food, great music and friendly service.Dawn S.5/14/2018
My friends and I needed to eat a late dinner near our hotel after cheering at Madison Square Garden and saw the fun vibe this place was giving off from the street, so we decided to stop in. What a great decision! The atmosphere is a great place to get together with friends in an upscale pub/bar experience. The elevated traditional fare was a testimony to this as well. I had the salt brick chicken, which was the perfect level of tenderness on the inside and crunchy on the outside you want in a dish. The pan gravy and brussels were savory and wholesome, too! The staff was also very friendly. So glad we ended up here.Mackenzie P.11/17/2017
