This lively two-floor mainstay captained by brothers Ian and Niall Conroy of County Tipperary, Ireland boasts a sweeping 99-foot main floor bar—the longest of any sports bar in NYC—in a charming post-industrial setting decked with tufted leather banquets, dozens of HDTVs, and premium surround sound for the ultimate sports-viewing experience.
A popular spot for locals, concert goers, and sports fans, alike, Mustang Harry’s is located at 352 7th Avenue between 29th St. and 30th St. in close proximity to Penn Station and local attractions such as the Empire State Building and Herald Square. It is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, as well as Saturday and Sunday brunch.
We had 33 relative in from Tipperary Ireland for my dad's 80th Birthday and we had an amazing dinner here! Every single thing was excellent from the service, food and the owner coming by to say hello and check on everything. I highly reccomend Mustang Harry's for any event or dinner. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun!!Adriane M.5/09/2019
Stopped in for a bite before a 8pm concert @ the Garden and was not disappointed. It was definitely a bit crowded, as expected. We put our names in for a table but ended up sitting at the bar. The bartenders were so attentive and served us right away. The beer was cold and the food was delicious . We had the wings, flatbread and a chicken sandwich. Everything was amazing!Matt P.6/02/2018
Great place to eat! Not only is the location great as it's a block away from Penn Station but the service is excellent! Our server, Erin, was amazing and attentive. we started with the buffalo chicken bites and those were yummy and crispy. All of our entrees were great as well! Definitely would recommend !!!Ashley F.5/15/2018
Came here on a humble just o kill time and what a great surprise! Very happy with the service the food and the atmosphere. We ordered to plates to share. The nachos with chicken and the fried calamari were delicious. The nachos could've used just a little more sour cream on them and a little more cheese but other than that... they were on point. The calamari had like an Asian twist on it that was amazing to my pallet. Service was good. Atmosphere nice and cozy. Pretty big place with lots of space. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again would return! Good foodSacheen V.2/16/2019
It's always a gamble when you pick a place near Penn/MSG before an event. Will it be packed wall to wall? Will the happy hour drinks be watered down? Will the food be terrible? Well let me tell you - Mustang Harry's has none of those issues and I'm so glad I ended up here last week. Someone had recently told me that they renovated the place so before going to a concert at MSG last week, my husband and I decided to check it out. We had been here before but it was nothing special that really stuck out. I made a reservation online the night before and got the time I wanted with ease. We were seated right away to a nice table in the back. I asked the waiter if the happy hour was only available at the bar and he said yes. No biggie, I kind of expected it. I ordered a Cosmo and my husband ordered a beer. When he came back he told me that he gave me the special HH price for my drinks. A man who knows the way to my heart! For dinner we started with the pretzel and beer cheese which was so delicious and tasty. I had the Harry's Burger and upgraded my fries to truffle fries. The burger was RIDICULOUS! Blue cheese, caramelized onion, crispy onions, Mustang sauce, bacon. Basically everything you could imagine. It was so tasty, cooked perfectly and even with all those toppings it wasn't too much. I didn't love the truffle fries. They were thick potato wedges rather than fries and were slightly dry. My husband has the steak frites and said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. His French fries were so good!! Very thin, very crispy and very salty-the way fries should be! I love this bar and it's now my designated spot before events at MSG or if I happen to be in the area!Laura J.3/25/2018
This restaurant is our favorite restaurant near Penn Station and Madison Garden. Everything here is top notch. Especially the service. All the waitservice is courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambience is casual and the food is outstanding. The selection is gourmet with choices for bar food and entrees. There are also daily specials. I love the menu because the chef made sure to include a vegan dish with farro grain and vegetables which I really like. There are other choices which are the usual vegetarian too like salads etc. In addition the menu includes more standard fare like steak and seafood. Besides this the bartenders are experts at making delish cocktails and there is a full choice of alcholic drinks too, like beers and wines. This restaurant would be great for a date or to go to before an event at the Garden. Hope you go there soon.Allie C.5/06/2018
