We came here on a whim when the first place we stopped at had a very limited menu. We had less than 40 minutes until we had to leave for a show at MSG, and surprisingly, we had enough time! We were seated immediately, the waiter took our order within 5 minutes, and the food came within 15. The food was definitely "gastropub" quality, not at all regular bar food, yet the prices were reasonable. My burger was cooked perfectly (medium, still pink and juicy in the center, but no redness), and my husband's filet mignon sandwich was delicious. The gouda mac & cheese was very tasty, but I would have preferred some melty cheesiness to it rather than just creamy cheesiness--also they were skimpy on the bacon. Friendly service, very nice ambiance, and high quality food served quickly. I will definitely come back!Katie D.1/05/2019
The food and atmosphere was awesome. We were visiting from Baltimore and wanted to catch the Ravens game after watching a show on broadway. We had a group of six and got there midway into third quarter and the wait was only a few minutes. The place was packed.. food was excellent! We loved the lamb lollipops, calamari, Brussels sprouts, fish tacos, beef lettuce wraps and fish tacos. Niall the owner was very friendly and so was our waitress... we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a fun atmosphere!Jessica P.12/31/2018
Owner Niall Conroe really knows how to treat his customers. We walked in inquiring about Happy Hour. The hostess said it was over at 6. So we were leaving, Niall comes behind us and offers to extend the Happy Hour to us and gives us VIP treatment. Let's just say, our 1 drink turned into 4. His service and hospitality made our visit all worth while! We will definitely be back and bring some more friends.Carmelia B.1/19/2019
Had an amazing pre-Billy Joel concert dinner. We had the pretzel with beer cheese and fried calamari apps. The pretzel was huge, the beer cheese creamy and tasty. The calamari was tender and crispy, with a spicy asian glaZe. Plenty to share. I had the hanger steak for entree it was cooked to perfection. My daughter had the fish tacos also delicious. The smoked gouda macaroni and cheese side was amazing!! Hub had the burger with cheese and bacon. Tasty tooOur server, Rachel, was attentive without being intrusive. The bus staff kept our water full and our table neat. We will definitely be back. The Billy Joel soundtrack only added to our awesome dining experience. We will be back!!Patricia S.3/22/2019
This is a great restaurant within a 5 minute walk of MSG. We went prior to a show at the garden. There was no wait. Very nice atmosphere. First floor is tables and a large bar. Upstairs has more tables. I had the sloppy brisket. It was a good portion and tasted great. Nice beer selection. Great option if you're destination is the garden.Warren H.11/11/2017
