Midtown NYC’s legendary Irish sports bar & restaurant

for more than two decades

Located just steps from NYC’s Madison Square Garden, Midtown’s legendary Irish gastropub, Mustang Harry’s, has been an iconic Seventh Avenue fixture for more than two decades, cementing itself as a go-to favorite amongst locals, sports fans, concert goers, alike. Run by brothers Ian and Niall Conroy of County Tipperary, Ireland, Mustang Harry’s has defined itself as a flocked-to NYC dining destination, far exceeding any preconceived notions of “pub fare” with its elevated menu of handcrafted cuisine; and become a mainstay amongst connoisseurs with its comprehensive selection of artisanal cocktails, craft beers, curated wines, and extensive collection of fine spirits from around the globe, including more than 200 varieties of whiskeys and tequilas.

The venue’s post-industrial motif creates an inviting ambiance with tufted leather banquets, reclaimed wood walls, cozy nooks, and antique fixtures that capture the rustic charisma of turn-of-the-century NYC with winks of Irish charm—while its impressive 99-foot main bar decked with 16 HDTVs and premium surround throughout the sweeping two-floor space to create the ultimate game-viewing experience.

Mustang Harry’s is located at 352 7th Avenue in close proximity to Penn Station and local attractions such as the Empire State Building and Herald Square. It is open seven days a week for breakfastlunch and dinner, as well as Saturday and Sunday brunch.

Open Daily, 7:30am – 3am.  Kitchen closes at 12am Monday-Saturday, and at 10:30 pm on Sundays.

  • 5 star ratingI'm a huge Ravens fan who moved from MD to NYC and I'm so glad I found Mustang Harry's! I come here on football Sundays because they exclusively play the Ravens game on all the big screen tvs and everyone at the bar area is a Ravens fan. The energy makes me feel like I am watching the game back in Baltimore. I love the fun atmosphere. Location is perfect right next to Penn Station. It is busy but never overcrowded which I like.

They have a regular menu, brunch menu, and NFL menu. I've tried the peach bellini, mac and cheese, and buffalo bites. All are delicious. Love the bacon and Gouda in the mac. The peach bellini has the perfect mixture. The buffalo bites are like boneless chicken wings and the perfect snack. The staff are all very friendly, down to earth, accommodating, and as hype as the crowd watching the games. The service is very quick as well.

Love coming here and will continue to do so every week! Found my new Ravens home!

  • 5 star ratingGreat food and drink. Went in for concert at MSG and needed a place to go for drinks etc. We decided on Mustang Harry's and what a great decision. Tom our server and bartender was terrific. We ordered the Disco Fries and sliders and they were simply amazing. This will now be our go to spot when we visit the area. Thank you Tom for making our night even better.

  • 5 star ratingIt's always a gamble when you pick a place near Penn/MSG before an event. Will it be packed wall to wall? Will the happy hour drinks be watered down? Will the food be terrible? Well let me tell you - Mustang Harry's has none of those issues and I'm so glad I ended up here last week.

Someone had recently told me that they renovated the place so before going to a concert at MSG last week, my husband and I decided to check it out. We had been here before but it was nothing special that really stuck out.  I made a reservation online the night before and got the time I wanted with ease. We were seated right away to a nice table in the back. I asked the waiter if the happy hour was only available at the bar and he said yes. No biggie, I kind of expected it. I ordered a Cosmo and my husband ordered a beer. When he came back he told me that he gave me the special HH price for my drinks. A man who knows the way to my heart! For dinner we started with the pretzel and beer cheese which was so delicious and tasty. I had the Harry's Burger and upgraded my fries to truffle fries. The burger was RIDICULOUS! Blue cheese, caramelized onion, crispy onions, Mustang sauce, bacon. Basically everything you could imagine. It was so tasty, cooked perfectly and even with all those toppings it wasn't too much. I didn't love the truffle fries. They were thick potato wedges rather than fries and were slightly dry. My husband has the steak frites and said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. His French fries were so good!! Very thin, very crispy and very salty-the way fries should be!

I love this bar and it's now my designated spot before events at MSG or if I happen to be in the area!

  • 5 star ratingCame to NYC for the holidays and the best part was visiting Mustang Harry's to watch the Ravens game. Food was amazing as well as the experience. Service was amazing! Had a chance to meet the owner Niall who really made this place an incredible experience for us. Definitely recommend the Lamb Lollipops, calamari, and lettuce wraps. Thanks again Niall for an amazing time!

  • 5 star ratingMustang Harry's : 5 stars : when exploring restaurants in midtown or near MSG, I immediately assume it will be overpriced and mediocre. Mustang Harry's proves otherwise. I am a pescatarian and my options were limited, so I landed on the fish tacos. These were hands down the best fish tacos I've ever had. Most sports bars are limited in fish/veggie options and usually offer this on the menu so I've had my fair share and, wow. The people I went with all ate a red meat dish and had only good things to say. So, though the prices are high (or in line for the area), it is well worth it for the fresh ingredients.

  • 5 star ratingI had some family in town this past weekend and I met them at Penn Station. Starting to walk down 33rd, we soon ran into Mustang Harry's and decided to grab some food & drinks before going out for the night.

We were looking to have a talk over dinner so we were able to sit upstairs away from the football crowd.

The food was really good. Great atmosphere. Our server, Taylor, was awesome! She was very friendly and attentive. Definitely added to the experience for us. We all hope she's working next time we stop in.

We definitely plan on coming back!

  • 5 star ratingTheir staff and service is amazing. Freddie is usually in charge of my table when I go and he always goes above and beyond, with food/wine recommendations and impeccable service.

The owner Harry is very friendly and courteous. Gave me a free cheesecake for my bday.  By the way the cheesecake is to die for, definitely my favorite!!!  I ordered the NY Strip steak and it was delicious. The vibe of the restaurant can change depending on what day and time you go since it's very close to MSG but it's great either way. I highly recommend it.

  • 5 star ratingThe food and atmosphere was awesome. We were visiting from Baltimore and wanted to catch the Ravens game after watching a show on broadway. We had a group of six and got there midway into third quarter and the wait was only a few minutes. The place was packed.. food was excellent! We loved the lamb lollipops, calamari, Brussels sprouts, fish tacos, beef lettuce wraps and fish tacos. Niall the owner was very friendly and so was our waitress... we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a fun atmosphere!

  • 5 star ratingLove this place! Great drinks, amazing food, and reasonable price, especially for the location. Not a bad crowd either, given proximity to MSG and Penn Station! Loved the sliders and dumplings and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Two thumbs up!

  • 5 star ratingOwner Niall Conroe really knows how to treat his customers. We walked in inquiring about Happy Hour. The hostess said it was over at 6. So we were leaving, Niall comes behind us and offers to extend the Happy Hour to us and gives us VIP treatment. Let's just say, our 1 drink turned into 4. His service and hospitality made our visit all worth while! We will definitely be back and bring some more friends.
