  • 5 star ratingThis place is great and nice inside. I am a burger person and had them all over the city. The burger here is one of the top in the city I have had - especially in a brioche bun! 100% will revisit.

  • 5 star ratingGreat place for food and drinks after a game at the garden. Was served by the lovely Yenna at our table, food was amazing and service was great. We moved to the bar after table service finished and spent the rest of the night talking to Irish bartenders Gavin and Kevin, both were extremely friendly, accommodating and funny, this place is a must if you are visiting the garden, we have been to other places around the area but none of them come even close to this!

  • 5 star ratingWe stopped in here before the Eric Clapton concert.  It was pretty busy and the manager was clearly working his tail off.  I asked him about gluten free options and he said "we have salads."  That was good enough for me, I'm grateful when a restaurant accommodates me in any way.

We were seated, the place was packed.  They were playing Clapton!    I was seriously hangry and I didn't have high hopes....and then......

Enter Freddy, our waiter.  I told Freddy I was gluten free.  He said, "OK, no problem, what do you want to have?"   I ended up ordering a lamb lollipop appetizer and salmon with green pea risotto and mushrooms.   He (not GF) got the shepherd's pie.  Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.  Freddy was obviously swamped with tables yet he managed to be super attentive, our food came out quickly and was nice and hot and every need was met.

    A word on the manager...

I bumped into him on the way to the ladies room.  As busy as he was, he apologized so cheerfully that he made me smile.  This kind of attitude clearly comes from the top.  Every staff member I met here was working like a dog yet managed to be polite and cheerful.

This will be my new pre concert dinner go to.

  • 5 star ratingYou cannot go wrong with this place.  Great Irish fish n chips and fantastic burgers. Calamari Irish style very delish.  Fun energy and great servers.  Friendly Irish hospitality.  Visited here two nights in a row.  Could have gone a third night in a row.   We will be back!!!

  • 5 star ratingMustang Harry's is a phenomenal place to grab a meal or a cocktail either pre-concert or post-work in lower midtown.

The bartenders are old school cool and the atmosphere is completely chill.

They go the extra mile too.

They had fresh shrimp cocktail on the menu and I was in the mood to have it fried one night, so they fried them just for me and they were delicious. Not too greasy and just the right crunch.

Worth a trip and not tough on your pocketbook.

  • 5 star ratingIt's always a gamble when you pick a place near Penn/MSG before an event. Will it be packed wall to wall? Will the happy hour drinks be watered down? Will the food be terrible? Well let me tell you - Mustang Harry's has none of those issues and I'm so glad I ended up here last week.

Someone had recently told me that they renovated the place so before going to a concert at MSG last week, my husband and I decided to check it out. We had been here before but it was nothing special that really stuck out.  I made a reservation online the night before and got the time I wanted with ease. We were seated right away to a nice table in the back. I asked the waiter if the happy hour was only available at the bar and he said yes. No biggie, I kind of expected it. I ordered a Cosmo and my husband ordered a beer. When he came back he told me that he gave me the special HH price for my drinks. A man who knows the way to my heart! For dinner we started with the pretzel and beer cheese which was so delicious and tasty. I had the Harry's Burger and upgraded my fries to truffle fries. The burger was RIDICULOUS! Blue cheese, caramelized onion, crispy onions, Mustang sauce, bacon. Basically everything you could imagine. It was so tasty, cooked perfectly and even with all those toppings it wasn't too much. I didn't love the truffle fries. They were thick potato wedges rather than fries and were slightly dry. My husband has the steak frites and said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. His French fries were so good!! Very thin, very crispy and very salty-the way fries should be!

I love this bar and it's now my designated spot before events at MSG or if I happen to be in the area!

  • 5 star ratingDelicious food with great service. Really nice atmosphere. We had fish and chips, fish tacos, caesar salad, filet mignon sandwich, and the new york strip. Serving size was a bit large but really great food. Would highly recommend.

  • 5 star ratingAwesome place. Came in here for dinner around 6:30 on the night of a Home rangers game. Was sat in a nice booth immediately and served so diligently and quickly. Food was awesome, try to Mac and cheese side! Great music. Extensive list of draft beers, something for anyone.
